Celebrity favourite designer Anya Hindmarch has teamed up with Smiley to produce the most luxurious tote bag on the high street for her A-list fans.
The Happy Shopper Tote has turned the ‘convenience bag’ into the ultimate fashion statement for 2014. The tote bag was originally designed for carrying groceries from the supermarket, however Hindmarch and Smiley have given this high street staple a fashion makeover and a celebrity price tag (£2,500) that will ensure it remains exclusive.
The Happy Shopper Tote is inspired by a passion for finding the beauty in the banal, a super luxurious take on the classic shopping bag. Crafted from printed python skin, it’s lined in soft suede with hand-painted edges. The short handles offer a more modern way to wear it, either hand held or over your arm.
The bag first caught the fashion world’s attention at Anya Hindmarch’s SS14 catwalk show back in September last year and just as it goes on sale, it’s being tipped by the fashion glitterati to be this season’s IT bag.
